Cinderella

For the first time in almost 50 years, Sir Frederick Ashton’s Cinderella returns to enchant audiences of all ages.

Based on the beloved rags-to-riches tale by Charles Perrault, Cinderella is the story of a kind young woman who rises above the mistreatment from her cruel stepsisters to ultimately rewrite her destiny. Reimagined and restaged thanks to the generous support of our Ballet family, the legacy of the original production lives on through updated production elements.

New storybook sets by Richard Roberts light up the stage alongside Kristian Fredrikson’s glittering costumes, lovingly recreated from the original designs. Set to Sergei Prokofiev’s tender score, Cinderella features exquisite variations and distinctive geometric sequences for the corps de ballet alongside some of the most intimate pas deux in ballet. An unmissable fairy tale, be swept away by the magic of Frederick Ashton’s Cinderella .
