Mischa Maisky in Recital with Lily Maisky

Celebrated for his rich, resonant tone, praised by BBC Music Magazine, and hailed by ABC Classic as “one of the most flamboyant and communicative personalities in classical music,” Mischa Maisky is admired for his emotional honesty, unmistakable intensity and scores of acclaimed recordings. As Rostropovich’s favourite student, he carries forward a remarkable musical legacy.

Alongside Lily Maisky, whose artistry beautifully complements his own, the duo delivers music-making of rare warmth, depth and expressive power. A unique opportunity to experience two exceptional musicians whose on-stage connection is as compelling as the repertoire itself.

The exceptional program will include works by Schubert, Rachmaninoff, and Shostakovich.
