Jazz Fest is taking over Prahran Market for two lively days of free music. Enjoy jazz, soul and R&B from local artists as you explore Stonnington’s favourite historic foodie destination. Saturday 24th October Priscilla Stanley 11:00AM – 1:00PM Priscilla Stanley is a Malaysian-born, Naarm-based singer, songwriter and performer whose sound blends jazz, soul, R&B, and the ethereal qualities of Carnatic singing and ragas. Her music weaves cultural traditions with contemporary influences, creating a globally resonant, emotionally compelling experience. New Day Trio 1:00PM – 3:00PM The next generation of local jazz talent perform all your jazz favourites, featuring Lucas McLaren on keys, Andrew Halliday on bass, and Izaak Agnew on drums. Sunday 25th October Lani Zimmer 11:00AM – 1:00PM Jazz, RnB and neo-soul singer Lani Zimmer breathes new life into timeless sounds. Lani blends retro and cutting-edge jazz styles, having inhaled the lineage of greats like Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday and Dexter Gordon while tracing the modern impact of 21st century contemporaries such as Amy Winehouse, Jazmine Sullivan and Cleo Sol. Fraillon/Handoyo/Halliday/McLaren 1:00PM – 3:00PM The next generation of local jazz talent perform all your jazz favourites, featuring Dhani Handoyo on trumpet, Lucas McLaren on keys, Andrew Halliday on double bass, and Luca Fraillon on drums.
