Love... The more I give to thee, the more I have... What does it mean to inherit a story that has lived through so many generations, retellings and centuries? Romeo and Juliet has become more than a play, it has become a cultural myth. In an endless cycle of retelling, what does it mean to play a role given to you by your parents? Driven by bold visual storytelling, movement and ensemble performance, ROMEO+JULIET reimagines the familiar tragedy as an act of transformation through the lens of the collective unconscious. Raw, poetic and visually arresting, this production is a rediscovery of the myth that continues to shape the way we understand love, loss and what it means to choose hope over hate.
