The Choir of King's College, Cambridge & William Barton

The Choir of King's College, Cambridge returns to Australia for a unique collaboration with composer, performer and visionary William Barton. The iconic Choir, founded in the 15th century, is famous for its much-loved broadcasts from the magnificent Chapel of King's College but to truly appreciate their remarkable musicianship and impeccable sound, you must hear them live.

And you can, in 2027, when they return to Australia to explore music old and new with one of Australia's most charismatic musicians. From green fields and stained-glass windows to red dirt and blue skies, the songs will meet, merge and make meaning. Gabriel Fauré's Requiem is the moving centrepiece for this program of choral classics. Woven into these profound meditations, William Barton offers his own invitation to join him in a hymn to Country.
