Celebrate the premiere of The Democratic Set , Narre Warren.
Back to Back Theatre is one of Australia's leading contemporary theatre companies. The company is known for creating original work with a team of actors with intellectual disabilities at the heart of its creative process.
THE DEMOCRATIC SET explores the idea that everyone should have equal rights, opportunities and a voice in society.
As part of the project, Back to Back Theatre invited people from across Melbourne's south east to step onto the stage at Bunjil Place Theatre and perform for 15 seconds on camera. The result is a unique film artwork that celebrates the diversity of the community.
The event will also include: - A live DJ set by JORDZ - Additional films from THE DEMOCRATIC SET archive - A Q&A about how the project was created
Come along to celebrate this unique community artwork and experience THE DEMOCRATIC SET before it is shared with audiences across the world.
