Why natural light?
Natural light provides consistent, soft illumination and reveals the truest form, colour, and depth of the subject.

Why south light?
South light (in the Southern Hemisphere) is the artist’s gold standard: cool, stable, and free from harsh direct glare. It offers exceptional clarity and shadow.

We limit each session to 12 artists. This guarantees ample space, a good view of the model, and the option to use the sight-size method with room to step back from the easel.
