Following the success of Don Juan and Jekyll & Hyde, A Slightly Isolated Dog brings The Trojan War: an explosive, hilarious and interactive celebration of myth, music and theatrical chaos.

Performed by a cast of faux-French performers, the show combines wicked pop songs, fierce wit and transformational audience interaction to romp through the classic tale of gods, heroes and the tragic fall of Troy. When Paris is born, it is prophesied he will bring destruction to the city; attempts to avoid that fate set in motion the events that lead inevitably to Troy’s downfall. Joyful, ridiculous and high-energy, The Trojan War uses an ancient story to playfully explore the chaos of our times.

“Irrepressibly gleeful” — NZ Herald. “Extremely funny, high-energy... a brilliant mix of high drama and domestic drama” — The Scotsman.

“A high-octane, overly-charged show that defies many conventions of theatre” — Dominion Post.
