Nadun Hettiarachchi

Today, he’s one of Australia’s fastest-rising comedy voices and an award-winning stand-up.

In this sharp, story-driven hour, Nadun unpacks his origin story — growing up during the Sri Lankan Civil War, navigating migration, mental health, and the absurd realities of becoming “Australian enough.” His comedy is raw, deeply relatable, and unapologetically bold, blending tight punchlines with dark twists and unexpected warmth.

The show tackles big themes — war, identity, racism, and citizenship — without losing its sense of fun. It’s honest without being heavy, provocative without being preachy, and packed with laughs throughout. Each performance also features a rotating line-up of diverse opening acts, spotlighting voices rarely heard on mainstream stages.

This show is for comedy lovers who enjoy fearless storytelling, smart social commentary, and jokes that push boundaries while still landing hard. If you like your comedy personal, political, and painfully funny, this one’s for you.

A RAW Comedy National Finalist and soon to appear on SBS, Nadun Hetti is one to watch — catch him now, before he blows up… or gets deported.
