Write Together, Rise Together

Happening every Thursday and Saturday afternoon at PHIVE, over the 2 weeks of Heartland Festival 2026 , this session invites playwrights to come together and write. Facilitated by Australian Plays Transform, these sessions provide a quiet, focused space for playwrights of all experience levels to write alongside each other and connect with their fellow playwrights. No pitches, no pressure – just you, your words, and a little accountability. A mixture of APT and NTofP Producers and Dramaturgs will kick off the sessions and be available for playwrights to drop by for a cup of tea and chat about industry pathways, story and the various opportunities out there for Australian playwrights. Most of all its space and time to write alongside other playwrights. Come for the accountability, stay for the community.
