Seven years after her sold-out season Further Tales of a Catastrophist, Katie returns with a sharp, self-deprecating comedy cabaret of anxious overthinking, power ballads and peri-menopausal wisdom — proving she might be more evolved, but she’s still a catastrophiser at heart.
It’s been seven years since Katie last bared all. Back in 2019 she graced the stage with her sold-out shows Tales of a Catastrophist and Further Tales of a Catastrophist, sharing the inner world of an anxious overthinker and worrier.
Since then she’s put in the time and done the work — so anxiety and catastrophising are a thing of the past. Or are they?
She’s been described as anxiously awkward, relatable, charming and light-hearted. Add a bit of wisdom, peri-menopause and ageing gracefully to the mix and you’ve got yourself one hell of a woman and one hell of a show. Full of self-deprecating stories and power ballads galore (with a penchant for the 80s), Katie is back in a brand-new comedy cabaret: Acceptance Therapy.
Katie Cullinan is a cabaret performer and singer returning to the stage after some time away.
