Looks like skinny is back in fashion, which means eating disorders are actually so hot again!!

Last year a relapse into an eating disorder led to the implosion of pretty much everything in Steph's life, (which sucked on a personal level, but early Christmas for a comic wondering what they were going to write a show about).

Darkly funny, and outrageously candid, this is a timely interrogation of the societal obsession with physical appearance, the normalization of diet culture, and the expectations of normative femininity. Through a narrative based in the ending of a relationship, Steph questions what it means to be perceived as feminine in a society that so often equates feminine worth with physical desirability.

"Highly entertaining and utterly unique.... a journey to the unknown yet relatable"
★★★★
- Theatre Thoughts

"Shocks, with sharply written punches to the stomach" - Maria Bamford (US)

"Wit so dry it leaves you thirsty for more" - Praise Dionysus

"Almost a lesbian" - Chortle (UK)

RUNNER UP: RAW Comedy National Final, 2024 - Melbourne International Comedy Festival

I Hope They Call Me Skinny in the Eulogy will be Steph's second solo show and while it contains significantly less goat-based material, it's a certified good time that still has a hint of Amish-like je ne sais quoi to it.
