The festival's crown jewel is back. The Just For Laughs All-Star Gala returns to the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall for one unforgettable night of world-class comedy, and it sells out every year. This is the Gala that has welcomed some of the biggest names in comedy to one of the most iconic stages on earth. Past Galas have featured some of the biggest and best international and local comedians including Eric Idle, Urzila Carlson, Kevin Bridges, Margaret Cho, Shaun Micallef, Noel Fielding, Reggie Watts, Nina Conti, Joanne McNally, Celia Pacquola, Steph Tisdell, Russell Howard and so many more. This year's Gala will be hosted by Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald, the duo behind Network 10's hit The Cheap Seats. Bracewell, award-winning New Zealand comedian, writer and Taskmaster NZ champion known for her quick, deadpan take on the week's news. McDonald, Australian comedian, broadcaster and Have You Been Paying Attention? regular whose easy charm and impeccable timing make him one of the most in-demand hosts going around.
