Into the Box

An interactive adventure to spark curiosity and encourage little explorers to imagine, move, create, discover and play. From 7 – 10 October, the Riverside Theatres Courtyard will transform into a world of play with FREE school holiday activities the whole family can enjoy. Storytime: 11am, 12pm, 1pm Join this interactive storytelling experience exploring stories, imagination play, song and dance. Runs for approx. 30 minutes. Face Painting: 9am – 12pm Choose from a range of colourful designs and transform into your favourite character, creature or creation. Balloon Bending : 11am – 2pm Watch as balloons are twisted and shaped into a variety of playful creations to take home. Colouring & Creative Play: 9am – 2pm A creative space for little artists to create a masterpiece. Take it home and display it in their room or on the fridge. Into the Box is both a fun and educational experience as children will: – Explore their 5 senses – Develop fine and gross motor skills – Sing, dance and move – Discover stories and characters – Build confidence through imaginative play – Make new friends Feeling peckish? Parents can grab a coffee or hot chocolate while the kids enjoy tasty combo deals, including nuggets and chips. Bring your little explorers, open the box and see where their imagination takes them.
